How does Nella post entries to your books safely?
Describe an entry in ChatGPT or Claude and Nella builds it itself, matching each name to exactly one record in your books. Checks run first: an entry that breaks a hard rule is refused, and softer concerns appear as warnings you must tick. The full entry is shown on a card and posts only when you press its button. Nella then reads it back from your books, and offers an undo where your software allows.

Nella builds it
From your own suppliers, accounts and tax codes. A request carrying raw debits and credits is refused.
Checked and shown
Hard rules refuse; warnings must be ticked. The whole entry appears on a card.
You approve, Nella posts
One entry per approval, read back afterwards, with a record of what was approved.
What it does not do
Stated plainly, because a figure you can trust is one whose limits you know.
- Each entry needs its own approval. There is no standing permission to post.
- Nella moves no money and files nothing. Recording a payment records what happened at the bank.
- It works with Xero, QuickBooks and FreeAgent. Sage is not yet included.
- It is being switched on for existing users with Nella’s updated terms.
Bills, expenses, invoices (created, not sent), credit notes, payments, journals, prepayment schedules and more.
