How does Nella help you chase unpaid invoices?
Once you agree, Nella reads your receivables each night. Where customers are overdue, it puts one item on your team board with a chase message drafted for each customer: the invoices, the amount, how many days overdue and a tone based on how that customer has paid before. You approve messages one by one. Approving sends nothing; each approved message opens in your own email, or you copy it.
Try it on your own books
Connect your accounting software and get your Nella Score in minutes. Nella Pro is free for 60 days, no card, including the entries you approve posted to your books. After that, Nella Free keeps reading your books, with no time limit.

You agree once
Nella asks whether it may prepare chase messages. You can stop that at any time from the same place.
Checked each night
Your receivables ageing is read overnight. Customers past their terms become one item on the Receivables role of your team board.
A draft per customer
The invoices, the amount overdue, the days overdue, a suggested tone and the message itself.
You approve and send
Message by message. Each opens as a new email in Gmail or Outlook, addressed to the customer’s email on your books, or you copy it. You can withdraw an approval before sending.
What it does not do
Stated plainly, because a figure you can trust is one whose limits you know.
- Nella sends nothing. Every message leaves from your own email, after you approve it.
- Balances below the chase threshold, or only just due, get no draft. They still appear on the ledger, so the chase list is never presented as everyone who owes you.
- An invoice with no due date cannot be judged overdue, so it is counted separately.
- It covers Xero, QuickBooks and FreeAgent. Sage is not yet included.
The tone is a suggestion from payment history, and Nella never labels a customer a bad payer. Whether to charge interest, stop supplying or take further action is your decision. More on how it works: Can AI chase unpaid invoices for me?
Nella provides financial information and education, not accounting or tax advice. Nella shows you the numbers. When a question needs professional judgment, such as a filing or a tax decision, Nella says so and points you to a qualified accountant.
