What is the Nella Score?

The Nella Score is a finance health check from 0 to 100, calculated from a business's own accounting data. It scores five dimensions out of 20 each: cash visibility, margin health, debtor risk, bookkeeping quality and growth readiness. The arithmetic runs in code, so the same figures always give the same score; an AI model writes the explanation but never sets the number.

The score is the first thing Nella produces after a ledger is connected and is recalculated monthly. It is a way of seeing which part of the business is worth attention first, not a credit score and not an audit.

Is the Nella Score a credit score?
No. It is calculated from the business's own books and is not reported to anyone. It summarizes financial health as the figures show it.
