Yes. Nella’s Claude connector answers from Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage or FreeAgent: you connect your accounting software to Nella once, through its own secure sign-in, and Claude asks Nella. Claude never holds your accounting login, and nothing in your books changes.

No. The connector talks to Nella, not to your ledger. Nella holds the connection and answers from it, so your accounting software is never exposed directly.

Without the connector, Claude answers from general knowledge and has never seen your figures. With it, answers come from your own live ledger.

No. Nella has not collected that month yet. This is a gap in collection, not a month with no activity, and it usually resolves on the next scheduled refresh.

The ledger-side unreconciled count is not the same population as your accounting app’s dashboard count. They measure different things and will not always match. If a figure still looks wrong, email support and we will trace it back to the ledger entries it came from.

Expected on FreeAgent and Sage — those APIs do not expose them. Nella says so rather than reporting a gap as nil.
